    Hi Guys,

Enjoyed the show (although am I right in assuming it was actually recorded before your Indy 4 show?). Anyway, good fun and I enjoyed the singingbowl. Did I hear correctly that Gareth has a total of 50 DVDs? I find that hard to believe, that’s very restrained of him!

I wanted your advice on something. I teach 10-11 year old kids and wanted to set up a film club in my school. (Having been inspired by seeing the http://www.filmclub.org site – do take a look.) My thinking behind this was an attempt to broaden the range of films that children of this age will have generally been exposed to. Which films would you suggest should go on any line up I might put together? They need to be ones they’re unlikely to have see and won’t bore them to tears in the first 5 mins. For example I don’t think I’d get very far with Lawrence of Arabia, despite being a wonderful piece of cinema. Oh and of course any film would need to be certificate appropriate!

    Any comments would be appreciated.

Yes – recorded before the Indy show – didn’t feel the need to tell you Dear Listener – as assume you’re as sharp as a tack – which in fact you are.

Re: films for 10-11 yr. olds = hmmm… Will have a think…not Ryan’s Daughter is my first thought.

  3. Kiley says:

well…i must admit, i am a a very VERY geeky comic book reader, so, as much as it pains me to say this: seeing Samuel L. as (possibly General) Sgt. Nick Fury was AWESOME!!!! (much better than the hasselhoff version ;P)

  4. jettloe says:

Oh sure Samuel L. Jackson will be fine as Nick Fury – but will he be as

    AWESOME as HASSELHOFF?

Full disclosure – i’ve actually seen this – channel surfing in some dodgy motel in some dodgy town – i couldn’t believe it!

  5. Phil says:

I am going to see the Hulk tonight.

Also, did anyone notice Capt. America’s shield is lying on Tony Stark’s workbench at point in the movie? I didn’t see it until I read about it after the fact.

I gotta get my buddy ‘Jeff Love’ to have a closer look at his copy.
