thank you, both, for your review of “For Colored Girls.” as an African-American woman, I appreciate your reasoned and respectful review of both the film and Perry’s technical abilities. I feel better about going to see it, since you cut through so much hype and hyperbole. I engage in it, myself, lol, but I can take a step back and be a little fairer when I see it. Cheers.
