Great point about the aspect ratio, Jett, though for once I found myself more in tune with Gareth’s perspective, his appreciation of the monks’ crisis of faith.
It sure ain’t Bresson.
Thank God the Film Talk is continuing. Also thankful for spreading the word on Schrader’s phenomenal Transcendental Style in Film, I’d say a must-read!
