I can only refer to it as anti-funny.

You're right – I don't even want to know what's going on in the photo – hopefully he's about to meet his demise, and the movie would only be 20 minutes long.
Unfortunately for you, I suspect that's not the case, and Arkin's character survived whatever mishap was about to take place.
