He and his producers did NO research, NO investigation on the story, which is really about a CULT RESCUE. They deliberately EDITED OUT anything which proved her innocence. They had a tape recording of Joyce and her Mormon fiance talking, and her fiance tells her the Mormons have hired PR teams to tell the phoney kidnap rape story to cover up their “forbidden” love affair and thus save their multi million dollar Mormon Image. .. that they are “watching him 24 hours a day” even making him “leave the door open when he goes to the bathroom”, and controlling his diet, clothing and sex life–even monitoring him and interviewing him to see if he masterbates. The Mormons tell him to think of “maggots crawling on a dead body” when he has feelings of love or emotions for her, and to “tie his arm to the bed and sing a Mormon song”.
