Thanks for coming back.
As for the 'A Team' movie I'm afraid to see it now because of all my memories of watching the TV show and fond recollections of its tongue-in-cheek violence that subverted real violence by laughing at it and saying it wasn't worth it.

Anyway, so inspiring was this TFT episode that a thought came to mind about the next one - and about navigating the straits between Gareth's geographically-challenged film availability and Jett's SATC2 dilemma. How about comparing and contrasting two current movies as to how they imagine the relationship between the sexes, within their specific contexts. One is set in a modern, egalitarian western society, based on a book with an author-demanding (before he died) first run title of "Men Who Hate Women." The other is set in a middle eastern society that aspires to have all the trappings (and excesses) of western modernity while maintaining traditional, gender hierarchical roots - when all of a sudden it is invaded by a group of American women on a mission (based on a movie with a contract-demanding title).

Just a thought. At least Gareth ought to be able to find 'Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' & Jett 'Sex and the City 2' - maybe?

Talk about a show that's worth the wait. Very interesting and informative. There is a new movie coming out starring George Clooney called "The American", based a book or story called "the private gentleman" or something like that - I was reminded of it by Gareth's mention of "Field of Dreams" (which by the way I liked and agree w/ Gareth - though I say both a different title, and an actor other than Costner would give this movie a totally diff. perspective to many folks). In Clooney's movie, it seems the movie title has no correlation to the book/story title, other than Hollywood trying to cash in on some form of political angle, which to me "The American" conjures up (good or bad). But, I haven't read the story so I can't say if it has any relation or not.

Thanks for answering my question! Very interesting and informative.
